Moldova managed to take impressive steps in short time - Secretary General of Government of Romania says

Chisinau, Oct. 17 /MOLDPRES/- Secretary General of the Government of Romania Mircea Abrudean said today at the meeting of the Moldova Support Platform that our country managed, in a short time, to take impressive steps and decisively advanced the reforms on the European agenda.

"The Republic of Moldova managed to take impressive steps in a short time to improve its resilience, found alternatives to the gas supplied by Gazprom and worked non-stop to improve its energy efficiency and to connect through Romania to the European market", the official said.

Mircea Abrudean added that our country decisively advanced the reforms to go on the European agenda. "The fight against corruption continued with certain high-profile cases and measures to clean up the justice system. These reforms are part of the integration process. We are now at a crucial intersection where Moldova will be assessed and progress will be analyzed to see if it is moving forward. Romania supported the Republic of Moldova during these reforms. We are going together on projects that will help the country get closer to the EU", the official said.

57 delegations from over 30 states, international organizations and financial institutions met today in Chisinau, within the 4th edition of Moldova Support Platform launched at the initiative of Romania, France and Germany.
