Producers from Moldova expected at Moldagrotech, Farmer exhibitions on 19-22 October

Chisinau, 17 October /MOLDPRES/ - Over 200 participants of Moldova and from abroad are expected to participate in the 2023 year edition of the Moldagrotech and Farmer exhibitions, staged at the Moldexpo International Exhibitions Centre on 19-22 October.     

„The mission of the agrarian exhibition event is to make available to the business environment a single platform of communication and contribute to the facilitation of the producer-consumer relation, to the identification of new sales markets and solutions in the present conditions of work. The exhibitions serve as an excellent basis also for the enforcement of the National Strategy of Agricultural and Rural Development 2023-2030,’’ Deputy Prime Minister, Agriculture and Food Industry Minister Vladimir Bolea said at a news conference today.     

According to the official, producers from Moldova are able to take knowledge, in real time, of everything which is relevant in the field, by visiting the new edition of the international specialized exhibition of machines, equipment and technologies for the agro-industrial complex, MOLDAGROTECH and the international specialized exhibition of agricultural products, equipment, technologies, FARMER.   

The issue from this autumn brings together participants from Austria, Italy, Romania, Ukraine and other countries. Among the exhibitors, there are producers and dealers of technology, instruments, inventory and equipment for the agro-industrial complex and for gardening, farmers and peasant’s farms from Moldova, as well as research institutions, experts and representatives of state structures, insurance companies, commercial banks, financial organizations, international projects for developing agriculture, etc.   

On each day of the exhibition, the leadership of the Agriculture and  Food Industry Ministry (MAIA) will hold meetings and discussions with the heads of the district agricultural departments and other representatives working in the agrarian sector. These meetings will be used for the joint clearing up of the problems needing immediate settlement. Also, participants in the exhibition will present the National Action Plan on Family Agriculture in Moldova, the procedure of authorization and the tendencies of regulation as regards the introduction of phyto-sanitary products on market, mechanisms of subsidization in agriculture, which pose increased interest for those who work in the field.    

The MOLDAGROTECH exhibition is the first and the only one in Moldova, accepted by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) and EURASCO (European Federation of Agricultural Exhibitions and Show Organizers), which proves its compliance with the international standards. Constantly, the large number of participants, and implicitly, foreign exhibitors, shows the majors interest in the event as the sole platform in Moldova, where the agrarian traditions organically combine with innovative solutions, MAIA added.
