Chisinau, 20 October /MOLDPRES/ - The electoral agenda of the 20 October day included a news briefing held by the candidate for the office of general mayor of the Chisinau municipality on behalf of the European Social Democratic Party (PSDE), Vadim Brinzaniuc, on the issue of settling the problem of overcrowding of the education institutions from the Moldovan capital.

„The problem of overcrowding of the schools and kindergartens in Chisinau is extremely serious and its settlement can no longer be postponed. In the next years, I will start a comprehensive municipal programme on rehabilitation and extension of all education institutions from the Capital. Also, in the first mandate, we will build by two crèches in each district of the Capital. We also know where we should take money for the implementation of this comprehensive programme. A solution represents the twinning and financing agreements, non-refundable funds, as well as public money, which obviously must be correctly invested, not thrown into the wind,’’ Brinzaniuc said,

The candidate of the Revival Party for the office of general mayor of the Chisinau municipality, Vasile Bolea, also gave a news briefing. He tackled the subject on the support of families and public sector employees and solutions to this end.

„The team of the Revival Party is resolute to bring positive changes in the lives of the public sector employees and the families from Chisinau. Knowing the financial and social challenges faced by these groups, we suggested concrete measures, such as financial support for Christenings, allocations for the starting of the school year, compensations on the cold periods, investments in education and culture. Our vision is a Chisinau where each citizen feels protected and backed. With determination and unity, we want to bring again prosperity and equity in Chisinau,’’ Vasile Bolea said.
