Vice President of Bulgaria on working visit to Moldova

Chisinau, Oct. 31 /MOLDPRES/- Vice President of Bulgaria Iliana Iotova is visiting the Republic of Moldova for two days.

According to the presidential press service, today the official will have a working lunch with President Maia Sandu. The visit's agenda includes meetings with Speaker Igor Grosu, MPs of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Bulgaria and Prime Minister Dorin Recean.

On Wednesday, Maia Sandu and Iliana Iotova will go to Taraclia, to attend the inauguration ceremony of the monument to the national hero of Bulgaria, Vasil Levski. They will visit the Vasil Levski youth center, and will talk to students of four high schools in Taraclia.

Iotova's visit coincides with the marking of Bessarabian Bulgarians Day on October 29 and Day of the Bulgarian Enlighteners on November 1, when Bulgarians celebrate spirituality and national identity.
