Over 3,000 teachers from 50 schools to benefit from free of charge probations for continuous trainings in Moldova

Chisinau, 2 November /MOLDPRES/ - Over 3,000 teachers from 50 education institutions will benefit from free of charge probations of continuous training within the national project, We Invest in Teachers. Six million lei was invested from the state budget to this end.    

The Education and Research Ministry (MEC) selected 50 institutions beneficiaries out of those 88 schools which had applied for the project. The biggest education institutions from 29 districts and municipalities were selected for the first phase. Also, education institutions which had developed local partnerships were selected, thus ensuring the participation of at least 60 teachers per one institution or consortium.      

The continuous training programme will be carried out in November-December 2023, according to a schedule agreed upon with the provider of continuous training and the team of trainers will move to each education institution.  

The programme includes 75 hours of direct contact with trainers, 100 hours of individual education, 35 hours of follow-up and up to 90 hours of mentoring and counseling for each education institution.   

The subjects of the trainings were selected in cooperation with teachers, so that they meet their needs. Thus, such subjects will be tackled as the emotional intelligence, state of good of teachers, the organizational culture at the institution, efficient communication with pupils, adaptation to the diversity of pupils, edification of the trust and respect at education institutions. One of the modules will be dedicated to the relation between teachers and parents, including the efficient communication, establishment of partnerships based on respect, involvement of the family in the life of the education institution. At the same time, the subject of the inclusive education will be widely approached as well.
