ANRE: Fuel prices continue downward trend

Chisinau, Nov. 3 /MOLDPRES/- The National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) recently observed a slight downward trend in Platts quotations for petroleum products on international exchanges.

Thus, during the last 14 days Platts fuel quotations decreased by $38.5 per ton for petrol and $51.75 per ton for diesel. Respectively, the decrease represents about 4.6% for petrol and 5.6% for diesel.

For the next three days, ANRE announced a maximum price for COR 95 petrol of 24.07 lei per liter, down by 0.04 lei. At the same time, diesel will be sold at a maximum of 23.18 lei per liter. The new rates were established based on the algorithm based on the average value of Platts quotes for the previous 14 days, correlated to the leu/dollar exchange rate.
