Voters can apply for mobile ballot box for runoff election

Chisinau, Nov. 9 /MOLDPRES/- Central Electoral Commission announced today that voters can apply to vote at their place of residence for the runoff election on November 19, 2023. Applications submitted for the first round are not valid for the runoff election either.

According to the electoral legislation, the voter who, for health or other valid reasons, cannot come to the polling station, can ask the electoral office to vote with a mobile ballot box. Requests are made in writing, until 2:00 p.m. the day before voting. On election day, requests can be made in writing until 2:00 p.m., if a medical certificate is presented.

On election day, the president of the electoral office of the polling station appoints at least two members who travel with a mobile ballot box and materials necessary for voting to the place of residence of the voter.
