Energocom company returns one billion lei to Moldova's state budget a

Chisinau, 1 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Energocom Company has returned the overall sum of one billion lei (50 million euros) to the state budget, provided for in the instruction by the Commission for Emergency Situations (CSE) from 13 September, this year.

Under this instruction, the enterprise was to purchase 1,000,000 own shares, in order to reduce the registered share capital, at the expense of the financial means transferred during 2022. ‘’The decision was taken in the context of the relative stabilization of the natural gas market and taking into account the supply of the Energocom stock company with enough reserves and liquidities for the 2023-2024 cold season,’’ Energocom said.

On 13 September 2023, CSE ruled that the Energocom stock company will return financial means worth one billion lei to the state budget.
