Road traffic takes place with difficulty, in conditions of thick fog in Moldova

Chisinau, 2 November /MOLDPRES/ - The road traffic takes place in conditions of thick fog, which triggers the diminution of the visibility and the roadway is wet. The General Police Inspectorate (IGP) has issued a warning in this respect and recommends that drivers move with maximal prudence.

Thus, law-enforcers recommend that drivers properly make sure and signal the intention to change the direction, increase the safety distance between vehicles and use the fog lights.

At the same time, drivers are urged to avoid the risky movements, which can become extremely dangerous in the conditions of a low visibility.

In conditions of fog, policemen warned pedestrians to cross roads only in specially arranged places and only after they make sure that drivers noticed them.
