Commission for issues raised by farmers at protests started work

Chisinau, 4 Dec. /MOLDPRES/- The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAIA) announced today the start of the work of the Commission to analyze the issues raised by farmers during the November 2023 protests.

The commission is formed by a specialized team composed of representatives from several institutions. The commission analyzes the problems raised by the farmers to identify the causal link of these problems with the regional context and will propose measures to solve them.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry is committed to working transparently and in close collaboration with all parties involved in order to bring a positive and sustainable impact to the grain growing sector, the quoted source said.
