Meeting of parliamentary working group on Gagauzia held in parliament

Chisinau, Dec. 6 /MOLDPRES/- Parliament hosted a joint meeting of the parliamentary working group on Gagauzia yesterday. Attending the event were Speaker Igor Grosu and co-heads of the working group Larisa Voloh and Serghei Cimpoies.

The participants discussed topics such as the task force's mandate and priorities. They decided that there is a need for a continuous dialogue on this platform to identify the best solutions for the benefit of the citizens.

The speaker said that the dialogue platform is the only current communication tool between the Parliament and the People's Assembly of Gagauzia and must be maintained.

The meeting was also attended by members of the working group from the Parliament and the People's Assembly of Gagauzia, representatives of the General Legal Directorate of the legislature and Martti Ahtisaari Peace Foundation.
