About 720,000 Moldovan consumers submit applications to receive compensations in invoice on cold period

Chisinau, 6 December /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 719, 831 citizens have registered in the www.compensatii.gov.md information system till 25 November this year. On 5 December, the applicants learned the energy vulnerability category which had been assigned to them. Labour and Social Protection Minister Alexei Buzu today informed that the people who did not agree with the decision on the vulnerability category assigned can ask for explanations and additional support at the phone number 080005000 or at the email suport@compensatii.gov.md.   

According to the minister, out of all applications submitted, over 105,000 households or 14.6 per cent were included in the extreme energy vulnerability category. Another over 243,000 citizens or 33.9 per cent were assigned the quite high energy vulnerability category. About 232,000 applicants or 32 per cent were included in the high energy vulnerability category. The medium vulnerability category was assigned to 77,000 people, which accounts for 10.7 per cent of the applications. As many as 45,000 citizens or 6.3 per vent were included in the low energy vulnerability category. Over 12,000 citizens got the primary vulnerability category or 1.8 per cent and 2,905 households were declared non-vulnerable.       

At the same time, 261,468 households will benefit from compensation in monetary form worth 800 lei.   

Alexei Buzu also said that the citizens who had not registered in the compensations’ system till 25 November can do this till 25 December, in order to benefit from compensations for the current month.
