Chisinau Electric Transport Administration starts second phase of project payment of travel in public transport by card

Chisinau, 12 December /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau Electric Transport Administration (RTEC) has started the second stage of a pilot project on the payment by card of the travel in public transport in the Moldovan capital. The project was launched in partnership with a commercial bank of Moldova.

According to RTEC, stationary validators work in all trolley buses which move on the routes No 22, 23, 24 and 30 from Chisinau. Thus, about 150 validators will be set in the municipal transport. Presently, they are under installations and are not functional. Following the setting, RTEC will show instructions on payment.

Also, RTEC noted that the previous stationary terminals and the terminal of conductors had been fully withdrawn.
