Cabinet's spokesperson says government maintains position on appealing ruling by Court of Appeal at Supreme Court of justice

Chisinau, 12 December /MOLDPRES/ - The government maintains its position and will appeal the ruling by the Court of Appeal at the Supreme Court of Justice (CSJ). The Court of Appeal today ruled to cancel the decision by the Commission for Emergency Situations (CSE) on the cancellation of the registration of the electoral contenders nominated by the Chance political party at the general local polls from 5 November 2023.

„We will defend the right of the state’s institutions to protect the national security from organize crime rings,’’ said the spokesman for the government, Daniel Voda.

The Court of Appeal today ruled to cancel the CSE’s decision on the cancellation of the registration of the electoral contenders nominated by the Chance political party at the general local polls from 5 November this year. The ruling by the Court of Appeal can be appeal at CSJ during 72 hours.
