National Army received new batch of equipment from European Union

Chisinau, Dec. 12 /MOLDPRES/- National Army received today a new batch of equipment from the European Union under the European Peace Facility (EPF).
This is the second batch of assistance from the EPF project, approved for 2021, with a total value of 7 million euros.
The first installment was received this May.
In 2021, the European Union launched the European Peace Facility, and also then the European Council approved the first installment of aid for the defense system of the Republic of Moldova.
Initially, the financial assistance package amounted to 7 million euros. Later, this support reached the total amount of 87 million euros.
