Moldovan PM visits sports complex in south Moldova, repaired within European Village programme

Chisinau, 14 December /MOLDPRES/ - As number of 135 pupils from the Andrusul de Sus village benefit from modern conditions for carrying out sports activities. Prime Minister Dorin Recean today visited the sports hall of the Grigore Racovita gymnasium and a football mini-stadium, rehabilitated within the European Village programme, the government’s communication department has reported.

The project, worth over 2 million lei, has been already put into operation and now, besides the pupils, all young people from the village enjoy better conditions to go in for sports.

During discussions with the settlement’s mayor, Ina Codreanu, the PM urged her to participate in the next call for the European Village programme, with new projects on the settlement’s development. ‘’ In the next years, we should make sure that we develop the settlements and provide the citizens with better living conditions,’’ Prime Minister Dorin Recean said.
