Government approved Diaspora program for 2024-2028

Chisinau, Dec. 21 /MOLDPRES/- Government approved Diaspora program for 2024-2028. The document will contribute to strengthening the state's connection with the diaspora and turning this collaboration into a factor of progress for the Republic of Moldova, the government's communication department has reported.

The program sees creation of a support unit for the citizens of the Republic of Moldova upon returning to the country and the stimulation of the diaspora's involvement in various fields. Also, a mechanism for the return and employment of Moldovan graduates and students from foreign universities is to be developed.

Until 2028, the Government aims to improve the quality of projects and initiatives in the country by using expertise and knowledge of diaspora citizens, which will lead to increased competitiveness and innovation in various sectors.

The program also includes an action plan that establishes the medium-term objectives and the activities to be carried out at the national level for the active involvement of diaspora members in the implementation of public policies.
