Moldovan president meets Czech envoy

Chisinau, 17 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- President Maia Sandu today had a meeting with Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Moldova Stanislav Kázecký, the presidential press service has reported.

Maia Sandu expressed gratitude for the Czech Republic's support in Moldova's European path, and noted that Chisinau will continue the reforms so that our country becomes a European state in which peace, democracy and the well-being of citizens dominate.

The head of state appreciated the lasting partnership between Chisinau and Prague and emphasized the importance of programs supported by the Czech Republic that improve the standard of living of Moldovan citizens. Maia Sandu noted the importance of cooperation in defense, mentioning the need to strengthen the sector.
