Deadline for reporting data by waste holders is 30 April

Chisinau, 18 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- Environment Agency warns the economic agents, who in 2023 produced/collected waste in activity process that they have the obligation to report the truthful information on the total amount of each category of waste, as well as the manner of their management.

The reporting procedure is done through the Waste Management automated information system http://siamd.gov.md/, until April 30, 2024.

"Failure to comply with the provisions on keeping records and transmitting data and information about waste and its management entails disciplinary, contraventional, criminal or civil liability, as the case may be.
