Moldova attends GreenWeek-2024 event in Berlin

Chisinau, 19 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- Moldovan delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Bolea, Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAIA) attends GreenWeek-2024 event, held on January 18-21 in Berlin, Germany.

With a history of almost 100 years, the event is considered an epicenter of exchange of ideas and experiences between ministers from all over the world. Here partnerships are strengthened and new collaboration bridges are created on the agricultural dimension.

The main concern of decision makers is to identify innovative solutions to challenges in the agricultural sector.

"For the Republic of Moldova, the exhibition is a strategic platform, through the presence of domestic producers we show the potential of our country to the entire international community. Here we will use every opportunity to strengthen economic and commercial relations with other states, especially in recent years, the Republic of Moldova has made significant progress in the adoption and implementation of EU standards and regulations in the agricultural field. It confirms that Moldova can be a serious and reliable partner on the global stage", Bolea said.

GreenWeek is a European event with a history of over 100 years. In 2024, Moldova for the first time has an exhibition platform of 100 m2, where nine local producers present their products.
