Moldovan citizens can apply for Erasmus for young entrepreneurs Program

Chisinau, 25 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- People who want to start a business or have already created a company in the last three years can apply for Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs Program. It allows beneficiaries to spend up to six months with another entrepreneur from an EU country to learn from their experience. The benefits of the program were presented today in Chisinau.

Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs is a cross-border exchange program that gives new or aspiring entrepreneurs the chance to learn from experienced business people running small companies in other participating countries. The internship can last from one month to six months.

The program aims to improve the entrepreneurial skills of the participants by collaborating and working with experienced entrepreneurs from other EU countries. It facilitates the development of new businesses by providing access to diverse networks, markets and knowledge, thus contributing to the growth and internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises in Europe.

Deputy Prime Minister Dumitru Alaiba, Minister of Economic Development and Digitization said that the program offers entrepreneurs the opportunity to find a partner in a European country to gain new knowledge and experiences. The official pointed out that the authorities are making efforts to eliminate bureaucratic barriers in running a business, so that the first steps in this regard are simple and easy.

EU Ambassador to Moldova Jānis Mažeiks said that the program represents another step for the Republic of Moldova's approach to the European community. It offers participants opportunities to acquire the skills needed to run a business and discover new markets for their products and services.

The program benefits from the financial support of the European Union. The resources available to applicants vary depending on the country where the internship takes place.
