Movement of Chisinau-Iasi train not to be ceased

Chisinau, 1 February /MOLDPRES/ - The Railway of Moldova state enterprise (CFM) today informed that the movement of the Chisinau-Iasi (Socola) train would be resumed, after on 31 January it had announced that this movement would ceased because of technical problems.

„We inform that the Chisinau-Iasi (Socola) train will not be suspended on Monday, 5 February 2024. The tickets purchased for 5 February are valid. The technical department on the next days will work in regime of emergency, in order to ensure the servicing of the Chisinau-Iasi (Socola) route with trains of the D1M type,’’ CFM said.

According to the enterprise, the train will move according to the schedule: departure from Chisinau – 06:27 – arrival in Iasi – 11:22; departure from Iasi – 17:40 - arrival in Chisinau – 22:16.
