Moldovan president encourages citizens to register for free of charge courses provided by national programme on studying Romanian language

Chisinau, 2 February /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu urges Moldovan citizens to register for the courses of studying the state language, the presidential press service has reported.

„The government helps you study the Romanian language. The adults willing to study the Romanian language can register for the free of charge courses organized by the Education and Research Ministry, within the national programme on the studying of the Romanian language, launched last year,’’ the head of state said.

The courses are meant for the adults who want to improve the knowledge of Romanian, as well as to those who want to study the Romanian language from the scratch and will be organized on the period March – December 2024, with physical presence or online.

People interested can register for courses till 29 February 2024 by filling in the following online form: http://bit.ly/programlimbaromana or can call the phone number 068686004 on the working days during 9:00-17:00.

In her message, President Maia Sandu said that 6,550 people were trained within the national programme on the studying of the Romanian language in the last year.
