Nicolae Testemitanu Medical University of Moldova maintained in top 10 per cent in Global Aggregate Ranking

Chisinau, 9 February /MOLDPRES/ - The Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy (USMF) of Moldova has been  maintaining in the top 10 per cent in the Global Aggregate Ranking for the third year in a row, being among the best 2,500 universities of the world.  

According to the USMF’s press service, the ranking has been recently published on https://best-edu.ru/ratings/global/globalnyj-agregirovannyj-rejting

The edition Global Aggregate Ranking 2024 is an independent instrument of evaluation of the higher education based on the data from 2023 and includes 13 global institutional rankings and the European database of the programmes accredited.  

USMF Nicolae Testemitanu is present in two rankings, being on the 901st position in the world in The Three University Missions (MosIUR) and on is ranked 2,456th in SCImago Institutions Rankings (SCIMAGO) and is registered in the European database of the accredited programmes DEQAR. It is institutionally accredited according to the standards of the World Federation for Medical Education, including in those three programmes of integrated studies (Medicine, Stomatology and Pharmacy).       

USMF Rector Emil Ceban said that the University’s presence in this ranking represented an appreciation of the works and of the performances recorded by the university community.

USMF Nicolae Testemitanu was the first university of Moldova included in the Global Aggregate Ranking in 2022. The ranking assesses 3,627 universities from 132 countries, in line with the MetALig methodology.
