Fifty seven new drug stores to be be opened in rural settlements of Moldova

Chisinau, 14 February /MOLDPRES/ - Three economic agents licenced in pharmaceutical activity have got the right to open subsidized state drug stores in 57 rural settlements of Moldova.   

According to the Agency of Medicine and Medical Devices (AMDM), this week, a procedure of tender was organized, to provide subsidies meant for drug stores from rural settlements.  

The working group was made up of employees of AMDM and Health Ministry and there economic agents licenced in pharmaceutical activity, which assigned for them the right to open drug stores subsidized by the state in 57 rural settlements of the country, participated in the tender.   

According to the quoted source, a harsh competition was recorded in more villages, with the price of the subsidization being low.   

The director of the Agency of Medicine and Medical Devices congratulated the winning economic agents and stressed the importance of the opening of the drug stores in the nearest time and the firm commitment to monthly monitor the progress of the opening of these drug stores in these villages.  

AMDM informs that the project, Drug store in your village!, will continue with a new round for the villages which were not requested, as well as for the villages from where demands of opening drug stores have come.
