Road of access to Leuseni customs post blocked in Moldova

Chisinau, 22 February /MOLDPRES/ - The road of access to the Leuseni customs post today was blocked, in the context of the protests staged by farmers.

According to the General Police Inspectorate (IGP), law-enforcers are on the spot to redirect and ease the transport.

„The non-communicated actions by the organizers on the intention of blocking create repeated inconveniences to other citizens,’’ IGP said.

In this situation, the Customs Service recommends that carriers and travelers opt in advance for the customs checkpoints Sculeni, Costesti or Leova-Bumbata (with working schedule 08:00-20:00), in order to avoid eventual delays.

The road of access to the Leuseni-Albita customs post has been also earlier blocked by farmers, in the context of the protests they organized.
