Moldovan PM in talks with students, teachers in Glodeni

Chisinau, April 5 /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Dorin Recean met with students and teachers of Vasile Coroban Theoretical High School in Glodeni. They discussed importance of quality education and benefits of European integration for the future of the country, the government's communication department has reported.

The official pointed out the need to involve young people in the development of society and encouraged them to continue their studies at Moldovan universities: "We need as many young specialists as possible in order to develop the country and integrate into the big European family".

Recean discussed with the high school teachers the actions taken by the government to support teachers and attract young specialists: "For the training of future generations, the Government is building better conditions in schools and providing support for the professional development of teachers".

Vasile Coroban Theoretical High School has benefited from the thermal rehabilitation of the institution, with insulation of the building walls, construction of the basement floor and replacement of windows, through the Energy Efficiency Fund Project. It is also among the institutions selected in the Model Schools Network programme launched by the Ministry of Education and Research.
