New acting head of 112 service appointed

Chisinau, April 9 /MOLDPRES/- Anatolie Viniciuc has been appointed acting director of the public institution emergency service 112.

According to an order of the Interior Ministry, Anatolie Viniciuc will hold the position until the appointment of a director of the 112 Service or another interim director, but not more than 12 months.

Anatolie Viniciuc has about 36 years of experience in the emergency system of the MAI. In 2019, he was appointed deputy head of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU). He served as deputy head of service, head of the Fire and Rescue Department of the Civil Protection and Emergency Situations. At the same time, he participated in development project management activities within the IGSU, in institutional and inter-institutional working groups.

The position became vacant in last November after former head Liviu Oboroc resigned.
