USMF "Nicolae Testemitanu" organizes biennial congress for medical students, PhDs and young doctors "MedEspera"

Chisinau, April 25 /MOLDPRES/ - The State University of Medicine and Pharmacy (USMF) "Nicolae Testemitanu" is organizing the 10th edition of the biennial congress for medical students, PhDs and young doctors "MedEspera". It is a platform for young researchers to promote scientific projects and achievements, to develop knowledge in medicine.

The opening of the Congress will take place today at 10:00.

Attending the event will be Health Minister Ala Nemerenco, administration of USMF "Nicolae Testemitanu", professors from the country and abroad, students, resident doctors and young researchers.

The event will be held on 24-27 April and will include eight lectures, 15 scientific sessions, a symposium and three round tables, 36 workshops, held by personalities in the medicine, dentistry and pharmacy. It will gather more than 700 participants, of which 600 - national and over 100 international from Romania, the Czech Republic, Serbia, Greece, UK, Switzerland.

"MedEspera" is one of the most important scientific forums of USMF "Nicolae Testemitanu" and represents a viable platform for young researchers to promote their research projects and scientific achievements, to develop their knowledge in the field of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy and public health and to set relations of collaboration and friendship with their peers from abroad.

The closing ceremony of the Congress and the awards will take place on 27 April at 10:00.

The event is organized by USMF "Nicolae Testemitanu" in partnership with the Association of Medical Students and Residents of Moldova, under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Research and the Ministry of Health.
