Paintings by Moldovan fine artist to be exhibited in Czech Republic
Paintings by Moldovan fine artist Teodor Buzu will be showcased in the city of Tábor, the Czech Republic. Aptly titled Color Was in the Beginning, the exhibition will be held under the patronage of Ambassador of Moldova to mthe Czech Republic Gabriela Moraru and the Mayor of Tábor, Ing. Stepan Pavlik.
Teodor Buzu continues his artistic pursuit to explore the deep relationship between color, sound, and emotion. Nicolae Rusu describes his art as a fascinating blend of color and music, which deeply resonates with the viewer's soul, comparing the artist's chromatic play to the musical harmonies of Vangelis and Vivaldi.
The exhibition will be open to the public as of March 27 till May 25, 2025.
Teodor Buzu was born on May 3, 1960, in Drasliceni, Moldova, and is a member of the Association of Fine Artists of South Bohemia and the Union of Fine Artists of Moldova. During his career, Buzu has participated in 129 group exhibitions and organized 103 solo exhibitions.
Internationally recognized, Buzu has been awarded numerous prizes, including the National Order of Romania, For Merit, in the rank of Commander (2003), the Grand Prize at the Triennial of Watercolor in Slovakia (2019) and the title Master in Art, awarded by President of Moldova Maia Sandu (2023).
