Information on transport's movement to be able to be accessed online in Moldova
Chisinau, 11 January /MOLDPRES/ - The information on the routes included in the programmes on local, municipal, district, inter-district and international transport will be available in electronic format. In this respect, the cabinet today approved amendments to the Regulation on the way of keeping record of the state registers made by the e-Transport Authorization information system, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The new provisions of the Regulation establish the creation of the Register of the routes in the e-Transport Authorization information system. This Register, besides the information about the routes included in the transport programme, will also contain data on the transport operators for which the routes were nominated as regards the authorized regulated services in national and international traffic.
Also, the amendments made regulate the way of registration of data, the structure of the register and information about the route, schedule of movement, regime of servicing, data on the public stops.
The project’s implementation will allow digitalizing the interaction between the central, local public authorities and the business environment and as for the passengers, the register of routes will become a sure source of information. At the same time, premises will be created for the implementation of the electronic ticket for the road transport of passengers, through regular services.
