
Moldovan president discussed economic issues with members of Chamber of Commerce and Industry
Chisinau, 4 Aug. /MOLDPRES/- President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu had a working meeting today with representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), during which they discussed the problems faced by economic agents in their current activity.
According to the presidential press service, the head of state said that economic development is an important priority of the government, as it is the key to the well-being of citizens, and to the consolidation of democratic processes. Among the actions aimed at supporting the sector are tax and justice reform, education reform - for better training of the workforce, amending the legislation regulating labor relations, etc.
"For us it is important that the economy survives in this complicated period and develops. Our country can only be prosperous with a vibrant economy", said Maia Sandu at the meeting with CCI members.
