
Moldovan speaker introduced CNA head to institution staff
Chisinau, Feb. 7 / MOLDPRES /- Speaker Igor Grosu together with Minister of Justice Sergiu Litvinenco introduced today director of the National Anticorruption Center (CNA) Iulian Rusu to the institution's staff, the parliament's communication and public relations department has reported.
The speaker assured the new CNA leader that he has the support of the Parliament, especially in the field of amending the legislation in order to make the CNA's activity more efficient and to fight against the great corruption.
"The zero priority of the new Legislature is to fight corruption and clean up the institutions, so that we can return the state to the service of the citizen", Igor Grosu said.
During the plenary session of the Parliament on February 3, with the vote of the majority of deputies, Iulian Rusu was appointed director of the National Anticorruption Center for a five-year term.
