Chisinau, 30 August /MOLDPRES/ - An MP of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS), Ana Calinici, today was appointed as state secretary at the State Chancellery. Thus, a lawmaker seat remains vacant, which might be held by Valentina Ghetu, the next alternate candidate on the electoral list of PAS.
Contacted by MOLDPRES, representatives of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) said that, under the procedure, a parliament decision was to be approved, thereby taking note of the vacancy of the MP mandate, after Ana Calinici gives up her mandate. Calinici has 30 days at her disposal for this.
