
27 Moldovan doctors to provide Romanian colleagues with support in fight against COVID-19
Chisinau, 1 November /MOLDPRES/- Another 20 doctors and nurses, as well as seven paramedics left this morning for Lețcani hospital, Iași County, to provide support to Romanian medical workers in the fight against COVID-19. The announcement was made by the Ministry of Health.
They will replace the team of 22 doctors and 10 paramedics who previously joined the medical workers in Romania. The mission will run until November 14 this year.
In mid-October, a group of 22 doctors and 10 paramedics from the Republic of Moldova went on a humanitarian mission to Romania. They provided support to doctors at the COVID hospital in Lețcani.
In May last year, 42 doctors in Romania provided support to colleagues in Chisinau in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
