As many as 1,062 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours
Chisinau, 7 October /MOLDPRES/ -A number of 3,565 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours, of which 1,062 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. As many as 58,794 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.
According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 67 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians – 24, medical assistants –28, auxiliary staff employees – 15.
The health condition of the people hit is as follows: 749 are in serious condition, of whom 46 patients are connected to assisted breathing.
Another 471 people were treated and discharged today. As many as 42,480 persons have been healed of COVID-19 in all.
At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 17 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and there are 1,406 people dead of coronavirus in all. The virus killed a physician from Balti. Thirty nine medical employees have died of COVID-19 till present.
