As many as 379 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours
Chisinau, 23 December /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 9,142 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 379 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Eight out of the new cases are import ones. Thus, 373,752 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.
According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), six out of all infection cases are among medical employees (1 physician, 5 medical assistants).
As many as 879 people confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 138 are in extremely serious condition and 22 patients are subjected to mechanical ventilation.
In the context, 2,239 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 9,961 are under supervision at home.
Another 380 people have been treated. As many as 359,490 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.
At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 18 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 9,575 people have died of coronavirus in all.
