More hospital of Moldova to be endowed with new anaesthesia apparatus
Chisinau, 20 June /MOLDPRES/ - The public hospital medical and sanitary institutions of Moldova have been endowed with 20 advanced anaesthesia apparatus, which include devices for monitoring the vital functions. The event on the official delivery of the donation, provided by the U.S. government and the United Nations Refugee Agency, took place at the Cardiology Institute today.
The Diomid Gherman Neurology and Neurosurgery Institute, Oncological Institute, Balti-based Clinical Hospital, State Hospital received such devices.
Also, 13 district hospitals from Cahul, Edinet, Orhei, Ungheni, Hancesti, Causeni, Soroca, Falesti, Telenesti, Calarasi, Cantemir, Criuleni, Nisporeni, and two hospitals from Chisinau – Valentin Ignatenco Clinical Municipal hospital for Children and Gheorghe Paladi Municipal Clinical Hospital – will receive anaesthesia apparatus.
These apparatus will allow physicians to apply the anaesthesia safely and efficiently, in parallel with the monitoring of the vital parameters, absolutely necessary during laborious interventions.
The overall value of the last-generation anaesthesia apparatus, with advanced technology of lung ventilation, is of about 713,000 dollars.
