North Customs head, five other customs officers suspected of corruption arrested for 30 days
Chisinau, July 5 /MOLDPRES/- Chisinau Court today issued 30-day arrest warrants for six customs employees of the North Customs Office, including the head of the office.
According to the CNA, five people are to be placed in Penitentiary 13, while one customs official has been granted a house arrest warrant.
Two days ago, CNA officers detained the head of the North Customs Office, as well as five other customs officials. They are being investigated in a criminal case in which they are accused of passive bribery.
