
Over 30 youth organizations of Moldova to benefit from grants from Education Ministry
Chisinau, 8 April /MOLDPRES/ - The Education, Culture and Research Ministry (MECC) today informed about the list of winner projects within the Programme of Grants for youth organizations, the 2021 issue. The experts’ commission declared 33 projects winners and the overall sum allocated for the programme from this year, financed from the state budget, is of about eight million lei.
According to MECC, 69 projects have been submitted for participation in the contest. ‘’The main criteria for selecting the winner projects are: the project’s relevance, according to the priorities established in the national youth policy; interdependence between the goal, objectives, activities, results and indicators; clear defining of the Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Time Bound Goals – SMART,’’ MECC said.
Also, among the criteria, there were the clear defining of the participants/beneficiaries, realistic estimation, in accordance with the activities planned; capacity to attract resources, other than those provided by the Education, Culture and Research Ministry; quality of the mechanism of assessing the results; solidity of the promotion actions; project’s sustainability; capacity of implementation and the experience of the organization.
The goal of the contest for financing programmes and projects for youth is to ensure the creation of opportunities of participation and multilateral development of young people, for their active participation in the country’s economic, social and cultural life.
