Policemen detect over 3,400 road infringements of traffic rules on roads of Moldova
Chisinau, 22 July /MOLDPRES/ - Policemen detected over 3,400 infringements of the traffic regulations on roads of Moldova on the last days-off. Most infringements - 1,989 – regard the exceeding of the speed limit established on the road segment.
According to the General Police Inspectorate (IGP), 50 drivers were removed from driving, as they were found driving drunk.
At the same time, 446 drivers did not observe the priority road signs and ban signals of the traffic lights; 155 drivers drove without their safety belt coupled.
Also, 490 people stopped their vehicles in prohibited places and 175 were driving their cars without the annual technical inspection and the lack of civil liability insurance for car owners.
Also, 148 drivers did not give legal priority to pedestrians at the crossing of the roadway.
On the last days-off, patrol agents intervened in 303 cases following calls received by the 112 Single Service.
