Chisinau, April 3 /MOLDPRES/- The National Agency for Public Health announced today that it joins the actions of the national authorities to promote the importance of human capital in the healthcare system of the Republic of Moldova.
Thus, in the context of the World Health Worker Week - April 3-7, the National Agency for Public Health aligns itself with the joint efforts of all those involved at the global level in promoting initiatives related to the consolidation and increase of investments in health and human capital in health.
ANSP notes that it encourages the implementation of several policy options promoted by the World Health Organization at the national level, including the allocation of more financial resources for a sustainable development of the health system and human resources in health; recruiting and hiring more young health professionals and maintaining the existing workforce to be able to meet the needs of the population in health services.
