Chisinau, 11 November /MOLDPRES/ - New local elections will be held in Lingura village, southern Cantemir district and Cosernita village, central Criuleni district, on 15 November.
In this respect, the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) at a 10 November meeting approved the sample ballot paper and the sample stamp to be applied in the voters' identification cards during the election day, with the “Alegeri locale 15.11.2015” (local elections 15.11.2015) note on it.
Thus, the stamp will be applied on the voter’s ID accompanying sheet or any other valid identification document, simultaneously with the issuance of the ballot paper.
Each ballot paper is divided into 110x20-mm-sized squares; their number will depend upon the amount of electoral candidates.
CEC had also accredited eight national observers, delegated by the Promo-Lex civil association, to monitor the elections in both localities.
The decision to call new local polls in Lingura and Cosernita villages resulted from the failure of the councillors elected at the last June elections to hold foundation meetings due to lack of quorum.
