Romanian Embassy in Chisinau to open Condolence Book in memory of King Michael I of Romania

Chisinau, 8 December /MOLDPRES/ - A Condolence Book will be opened in the memory of His Majesty Defunct King Michael I of Romania. The Romanian Embassy in Chisinau made the announcement today.
Thus, Moldova’s citizens willing to convey condolences to the Royal Family are expected at the Embassy of Romania on 15 and 16 December, during 10:00-12:00 and 14:00-16:00.
On 14 December, during the same time intervals, representatives of Moldova’s central public institutions, as well as the members of the diplomatic corps accredited are expected.
His Majesty King Michael I of Romania died at his private residence from Switzerland on 5 December 2017. The body of King Michael I will be put in the Hall of Honour of the Peles Castle, and then – for two days – at the Throne Hall of the Royal Palace on the Victoria Street. The funeral service will be held at the Bucharest-based Patriarchal Cathedral. The burial will take place at the New Archiepiscopal Cathedral from Curtea de Arges on 16 December 2017.
The government of Romania declared 14, 15 and 16 December as national mourning days.
