More localities continue to remain out of power in Moldova

Chisinau, 20 January /MOLDPRES/ – The General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSE) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MAI) announces that in the morning of 20 January 2018, there still remain without electricity 62 localities in seven districts. The consumers of districts Criuleni, Causeni, Stefan Voda, Anenii Noi, Taraclia, Cimislia and ATU Gagauzia are supposed to be reconnected.

The territorial IGSE subdivisions report that there are no blocked national routes now. According to info from the State Road Administration (ASD), situation regarding the access to the localities of Lipceni and Sarcova, Rezina district, but also to Zviozdocica, Florica, Causeni district remains difficult. Over 24 hours, 230 units of machines and 377 people were trained to clear and clean the tracks.

Over recent 24 hours, rescuers and firefighters had seven interventions to unblock the transport means, with 10 vehicles being towed, including an ambulance with a patient. The rescuers’ actions were required on local roads and trails from districts Soldanesti, Anenii Noi, Criuleni, Taraclia, Dubasari, Rezina, Orhei and Cantemir. For the monitoring, prevention and liquidation of risk situations, there intervened 463 rescuers and firefighters with 135 trucks throughout Moldova.
