Traffic to fluidise at border check points of Moldova

Chisinau, 28 April /MOLDPRES/ – The Border Police of Moldova (PFM) has taken necessary measures to streamline traffic, ensure expeditious and professional control at border check points. "The citizens which want to spend mini – holiday of 01 May abroad will not be affected by increase in number of crossings of the state border", states an institution's press release.

According to PFM's decision, there were set staff reserves at most requested crossing points to intervene when necessary for release of cross – border movement. Similarly, it intends to use all special means of control and surveillance of state border, by opening movement bands through crossing points to prevent increase of waiting period and formation of queues.

In order to support the participants in cross – border traffic, PFM recommends passing through all border check points as not to overload just some of them. The application "TRAFFIC ONLINE" on official website of institution, indicating average time of waiting at car passes.

"If during preparations for departures abroad you are not sure which are needed documents to cross the state border, we recommend contacting GREEN LINE: +373 (22) 259 – 717. Also, please check validity and status of travel document that you intend to cross borders of Moldova, and if you have planned a trip with minor children, make sure that you have completed their travel documents. We mention during mini – vacation period at most "active" border check points, flow of families with children, as well as persons with special needs, will be directed to diplomatic corridor's passageway," says communiqué of PFM.
