Moldovan PM asks for speeding up of public consultation of First Home 2 programme

Chisinau, 16 May /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Pavel Filip today asked the Finance Ministry to speed up the process of public consultation of the First Home 2 programme, oriented towards state employees.
At the cabinet meeting, the PM noted that the acceleration was needed, so that the government approves the document as soon as possible and the budgetary employees can benefit from it.
‘’The state will pay a half of the cost of the dwellings; the rest of the money, as well as the interests will be paid by the state civil servants during 25 years. Young people who worked for at least one year in state’s institutions will be eligible for this programme. The government is set to develop also other social programmes,’’ Filip added.
At a news briefing on 15 May, the spokesman for the Moldovan Democratic Party, Vitalie Gamurari, said that the First Home 2 programme would be soon launched in Moldova. Within the programme, the state will pay a half of the cost of the dwellings bought by budgetary employees.
