Moldovan deputy PM, deputy minister for European affairs of Romania discuss organisation of inter – governmental commission meeting

Chisinau, 18 May /MOLDPRES/ – There were examined subjects of agenda, priorities and format of upcoming meeting of Intergovernmental Commission for European Integration Moldova – Romania today by Deputy Prime Minister, Iurie Leanca, and Deputy Minister for European Affairs of Romania, Victor Negrescu, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
Deputy Prime Minister, Iurie Leanca, and the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Daniela Morari, noted the importance of support of Romania for Moldova's European course at political level, including within EU, but also throughout implemented projects contributing to reforms' promotion.
Also, officials exchanged views on finalisation of an action strategy in order to achieve concrete results for Moldova during the Romanian Presidency at the EU Council in the first half of 2019.
The Inter – Governmental Commission Moldova – Romania for European Integration was created upon Action Plan for implementation of Joint Declaration on Establishment of a Strategic Partnership between Romania and Moldova for European Integration of Moldova signed in Iasi on 03 March 2012.
