Chisinau, 14 June /MOLDPRES/ - Employers due to employ jobless persons from vulnerable groups, including disabled people, will receive subsidies on behalf of the state. A draft law to this end was adopted with the voted of 53 lawmakers today.

The new legislative regulations see providing monthly subsidies worth 30 per cent of the average salary on the economy for the previous year, for a term of six months, for each employed jobless person. The subsidy will be offered for the partial compensation of the salary of the employed jobless person.

The subsidization of jobs is meant for the unemployed people running the risk of social exclusion, in order to facilitate their integration into labour. The new provisions refer to the following categories of jobless people: people aged 50 and older; persons released from places of detention, victims of the trafficking of human beings, after psychological and social rehabilitation, persons fighting with the consumption of substances, victims of the domestic violence and other vulnerable categories.

Also, the state will provide subsidies for the creation or adaptation of the work places for people with disabilities, employed under individual labour contract. In these cases, 50 per cent of the costs needed for the creation or adaptation of the work place will be compensated.

The new framework law will replace the present legislation and will regulate the working out, coordination, implementation and control of the policies on promotion of labour force employment, will monitor the labour market, will refer to the status of jobless person, measures of labour force’s employment and their financing.
