More educational institutions in 12 districts of Moldova to be equipped with computers

Chisinau, 18 January /MOLDPRES/ – The general education institutions in 12 districts of Moldova will be equipped with 150 computers, totalling over $125 thousand. The Government has approved today a decision on distribution of devices, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.

Thus, it will be distributed 29 computers in educational institutions in Ialoveni district, another 19 in Taraclia district and 18 in Calarasi and Falesti districts. Also, the institutions from Causeni, Edinet, Floresti, Hancesti, Soroca, Straseni, Stefan Voda, Telenesti will benefit from computers.

The computers were donated by Korea to the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research (MECC) in 2018 following the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on ICT cooperation of MECC and the Special Government Education Office of province Jeju.
